Volunteer Highlight:  Bev Terry

I began my career as an English teacher with Utica Community Schools before transitioning to school counseling. I spent most of my career serving students across multiple secondary schools in Utica and even held the role of System-wide department chair. My dedication was recognized when I served as president of the Macomb County Counselor Association and was honored as Macomb County Counselor of the Year in 1988.

Beyond my career in education, I have devoted myself to serving others through various volunteer roles. Provided disaster mental health support with the Red Cross, mentored through Habitat for Humanity, and contributed to organizations such as Abigayle Ministry, DoulasCare, and the Beaumont Parenting Program. My faith and commitment to community have led me to serve in multiple leadership capacities within churches, including roles in worship coordination, mission efforts, and future planning. A Stephen Minister, certified Birth Doula, Lamaze educator, and licensed counselor, and have always sought ways to uplift and support those around me—even exploring real estate to help people find their perfect home.

My husband, Rich, and I are blessed with four children and five grandchildren, whom we cherish spending time with.

Grateful for the opportunity to serve Love INC of North Oakland County, I look forward to working alongside the dedicated, compassionate team at Love INC.
