A young mother recently relocated to Oxford because of a toxic environment in the home which was not healthy for her children.  She will be literally starting over with her two boys, a teen and four-year-old.    She recently graduated and is employed as an EMT in Flint.   Her aunt helps with the boys so she can work.

As a result of dividing her time between work and school, she is 2 months behind in her rent.  The mobile home park will not accept partial payment and she was issued an eviction notice. This single mom is working very hard to turn this situation around and needs “a hand up.”

Love INC is assisting with gift cards from our gift card drive to help with gasoline when driving between Oxford and Flint, and a clothing voucher, since they were only able to leave with one duffle bag of clothing when they fled from the situation four months ago.  One of our partner churches will be assisting her with $300 towards her rent.

An anonymous donor has generously donated $500 payable to her mobile home park.  God is good…all the time.
